Cultural Intoxication Vol.1 — Yasunao Yoshida (Triple Fire). A talk event with the band's frontman, who is also a writer. Held at sabo beer bar & bookstore on 17 May 2026 under the original event title, Craft Beer and Writing.
How have drinking and literature intertwined? Over craft beer, the event explored the relationship between intoxication and writing, from older literary traditions and Japan's postwar Buraiha writers to the age of social media.
An accompanying booklet was distributed at the venue. It brought together a timeline of literature and intoxication, five styles of intoxication, craft beer pairing notes and a reading guide to accompany the conversation.
